SO, THIS PROGRAM BEGAN IN 1994.
IT WAS INITIATED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AT THE TIME, AND HAS SINCE RECOGNIZED 320 PROPERTIES.
SO TONIGHT IS THE 29TH YEAR, AND WE'LL HAVE 17 PROPERTIES, UM, THAT ARE, UH, BEING RECOGNIZED.

FACADE RENOVATION INCLUDED NEW WINDOWS AND BRICK AND STONE MATERIALS.
THE LANDSCAPING AND RAMP ACCESS TO THE SUITES WERE ALSO IMPROVED, UH, IMPROVED.

UH, WE DISCUSSED SOME ADDITIONAL CIVIC ENGAGEMENT INITIATIVES, UM, UH, WHERE WE COULD COME TOGETHER, UM, AS A COMMUNITY AND THEN INVITE YOU OUT IN SORT OF AN INFORMAL FORMAT, UM, AND INVITE THE GENERAL PUBLIC AS WELL, JUST SO THAT THEY'RE MORE FAMILIAR AND FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE WALKING INTO A JI UH, MEETING THEIR MUSLIM NEIGHBORS.
AND SO THAT MUSLIMS, UH, AND ARABS, UH, AND OUR COMMUNITY FEEL THAT THEY BELONG IN THIS CITY AS WELL.
UH, SOMETHING THAT, THAT I CERTAINLY APPRECIATE WAS, UH, THEY MADE US AWARE OF SOME COUNSELING RESOURCES THAT THE CITY, UM, UH, I BELIEVE FUNDS OR IS, IS INVOLVED IN, THAT'S GONNA BE CRITICAL FOR US AS, UH, MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY, UH, TRY TO NAVIGATE THIS TIME.
UM, AND WHEN REFUGEES FROM PHILISTINE AND THAT COME TO OUR COMMUNITY, CONNECTING THEM WITH THOSE, THOSE RESOURCES.
SO THAT'S CERTAINLY, CERTAINLY APPRECIATED.

IT DEFIES THE ENTIRE PURPOSE OF WHAT WE STAND ON, ON AMERICAN SOIL WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL.
AND FOR THAT REASON, A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE COME OUT AND SPOKEN AND YOU GUYS ACTUALLY LENT THEM AN EAR.
AND FOR THAT, I WANT TO EXPRESS OUR GRATITUDE.
