ONE IS A, UH, $5.2 MILLION, UH, REDUCTION, UH, IN, UH, ANTICIPATED SALES TAX REVENUE.
THE OTHER, UM, WHILE PROPERTY TAX, UH, OVERALL UP, UH, COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE VALUES DOWN NINE, UH, 0.4% WITHIN THAT, UH, LARGER NUMBER.
AND SO THOSE WERE TWO KEY FACTORS THAT WE BEGAN TO REALLY FOCUS ON.
UH, IN THE END, IF YOU KIND OF NET OUT THE RED AND THE GREEN LINES, THERE IS ABOUT $1.1 MILLION OF NEW REVENUE THAT WE WERE WORKING WITH, UM, UH, IN THE, UH, FOR THE PROPOSED BUDGET FOR FY 24 25.
WE TALKED A LOT ABOUT THE, UH, RESPONSE AS A RESULT OF THESE, UM, FACTORS, UH, THAT WE HAD IDENTIFIED.

UH, SO THEY, THEY CAN EXECUTE ON THEIR, THEIR VISION BY HELPING WITH BUILDING MODERNIZATION AND TENANT IMPROVEMENT GRANTS.

A STRONG INDICATION THAT THE FEDS AS THEY MEET ON SEPTEMBER, SEPTEMBER 17TH AND 18TH, UH, WILL LIKELY BEGIN TO REDUCE, UH, THOSE INTEREST RATES AS INFLATION HAS BEGUN, UH, TO COME.
AND SO WE'RE LOOKING FORWARD TO A VERY, UM, I THINK VERY ACTIVE 2025, UH, ONCE WE GET THROUGH SOME OF THE, UH, NOVEMBER ELECTIONS AND, UH, SOME OF THE ADMINISTRATION AND MONETARY POLICY IS WHAT BETTER WELL KNOWN BY, UH, OUR BUSINESS COMMUNITY.
IN TERMS OF OUR TAX RATE, UH, OUR CERTIFIED ROLE AS, UH, ECLIPSED THE $26 BILLION MARKET.
UH, THAT'S ABOUT AN 8%, UH, 26 BILLION, EXCUSE ME, THAT'S ABOUT AN 8% INCREASE FROM FY, UH, 24 IF YOU IN, IN, UH, UH, NET IN, UH, VALUES AND DISPUTE.
AND THEN, AND THEN SUBTRACT THE TIFF INCREMENT, UH, THAT TAKES OUR AVAILABLE FUNDING FOR GENERAL FUND AND DEBT SERVICE TO JUST OVER $24 BILLION.

BUT IF YOU LOOK AT REGIONALLY, WE'RE STILL AT A VERY STRONG POSITION, UH, COMPARED TO OUR PURE CITIES IN THE SPLIT BETWEEN, UH, COMMERCIAL VALUES AND RESIDENTIAL VALUES AT 58 42.
UM, SECOND, UH, IN TERMS OF THE COMMERCIAL PROPORTION OF THAT, ONLY TO, UH, THE CITY OF IRVING IN TERMS OF OUR RATE CONSIDERATIONS.
RECALL THE PROPERTY TAX RATE IS THAT THE ADOPTED TAX RATE ASSESSED ON THE TAXABLE VALUE OF REAL PROPERTY AND BUSINESS, PERSONAL PROPERTY.
IT'S COMPRISED OF TWO COMPONENTS, THE O UH, M AND O AND THE DEBT RATE.

UM, UH, THE CITY, UH, THE, THE, UH, VOTER APPROVAL RATE ALLOWS THE CITY TO COLLECT THREE AND A HALF PERCENT MORE REVENUE FROM PR PRETTY TAXES THAN IN THE PRIOR YEAR.
UM, UNLESS THE CITY HAS AN INCREMENT TO APPLY THIS YEAR, WE DO HAVE AN INCREMENT, UH, OF 0.00493.
THAT WAS, UH, UM, VALUE THAT WAS NOT USED IN, IN, IN PREVIOUS YEARS.
UH, THIS WOULD BE, UH, THE THIRD YEAR OF THAT, THAT INCREMENT.
