THE APPLICANT INDICATED IN THEIR APPLICANT'S STATEMENT THAT THE FACILITY WILL BE OPEN FROM SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY FROM 10:00 AM TO 10:00 PM AND THEN ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY FROM 9:00 AM TO 12:00 AM THE SUBJECT SITE PROVIDES 306 PARKING SPACES IN TOTAL.

SO WE WERE TESTING THE MARKET TO SEE WHAT THE MARKET WOULD, UH, WHAT WE COULD JUSTIFY PUTTING OUT THERE IN THE MARKET IN THESE DIFFERENT AREAS.
AND WE, WE DID OKAY WITH THEM.
THEY WEREN'T, THEY WEREN'T A GREAT SELLER.

AND, UM, BUT I'M JOINED IN THIS APPLICATION WITH THE OTHER OWNERS OF EAST SIDE, WHICH INCLUDES, UM, MA WHO OWNS THE MULTIFAMILY, UH, WHICH ALSO HAS RETAIL, COMMERCIAL RETAIL COMPONENT ON THE GROUND FLOOR THERE, AS WELL AS, UH, BERT COMMERCIAL WHO HAS THE 10 STORY OFFICE TOWER.
AND, UM, ANYWAY, SO THE, THE PURPOSE OF THIS, UH, YOU KNOW, THE PROPERTY AS A WHOLE, UH, ROUGHLY 15 ACRES, 600,000 SQUARE FEET OF BUILDING AREA.
UM, YOU KNOW, WE'VE GOT A 180,000 SQUARE FOOT OFFICE TOWER, ABOUT A HUNDRED THOUSAND SQUARE FEET OF, UH, RETAIL RESTAURANT, YOU KNOW, GROUND FLOOR, COMMERCIAL SPACE.

THE REST OF THE TENANTS THERE, UH, HAVE BEEN THERE, YOU KNOW, SINCE THE ORIGINAL DEVELOPMENT, UM, WAS DONE BACK IN 2008 OR SO.

AND SO, YOU KNOW, ULTIMATELY IT'S JUST TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW CAN WE, UH, PROMOTE THESE BUSINESSES AND, YOU KNOW, LET PEOPLE WHO ARE DRIVING BY, UH, WHETHER IT BE ON THE ACCESS ROAD, DRIVING DOWN CAMPBELL, UH, ACTUALLY JUST KNOW THAT THEY'RE, KNOW THAT THEY'RE THERE, KNOW THAT THEY EXIST.
AND, YOU KNOW, PEACH COBBLER FACTORY AS AN EXAMPLE, THEY RECENTLY OPENED, UM, IN ONE OF THE INTERIOR SPACES AND THEY'VE BEEN DOING WELL, BUT I THINK THAT IF PEOPLE ACTUALLY KNEW THAT THEY WERE IN THERE, UH, THEN THEIR SALES, YOU KNOW, WOULD, WOULD INCREASE SUBSTANTIALLY.
AND SO THAT'S JUST KIND OF THE, THE NAME OF THE GAME IN RETAILS, YOU KNOW, VISIBILITY, ACCESS, UH, PARKING, ALL OF THAT'S ALL OF THAT'S CRITICAL.
AND SO ONE OF THE CHALLENGES THAT WE HAVE HERE BEING, UH, LACK OF VISIBILITY FOR A LOT OF THE SPACES, UH, THIS IS JUST ONE WAY FOR US TO COME IN AND, AND TRY TO CORRECT IT.
